Kaiser Permanente First Responder Resource Guides
In collaboration with the California Fire Service Task Force on Behavioral Health, the California Professional Firefighters and Kaiser Permanente leadership worked hard to develop tools to help its members access mental health and addiction medicine services at Kaiser Permanente in California.
These First Responder Resource Guides have been designed for use by wellness or behavioral health teams, union leadership, and peer support leaders within the First Responder community. They assist employees, union members, and colleagues who may need or benefit from accessing mental health and/or addiction medicine services at Kaiser Permanente (KP) in our Northern and Southern California locations.
The Resource Guide aims to help leaders in the first responder community support their colleagues in getting the right behavioral health care, depending on the member's needs. It does this by providing a clear guide, including department details, phone numbers, and tips that peer support leaders should know when helping others.
